We stripped a small shop back to its shell and transformed it into the tucked-away venue 露. The interior work centred on fitting the functions needed to run the business into a very limited space. With the owner working alone behind the counter, the necessary equipment and guest area were arranged compactly to suit that style of service. This is a discreet place for those who know it, rather than a shop seeking passing trade from first-time visitors. We made the most of the small interior to create a setting where owner and guests can meet across the counter.
