The interior of 39ROAD BARBAR was built around owner-supplied items and ideas developed on site. We kept the design to the essentials to suit the budget, creating a space that reflects the owner's personality. The owner enjoys camping, and we considered how to arrange their equipment, including displaying it on the walls. We also made the checkout counter by hand on site, shaping it to suit the shop while keeping costs down. Spending more is not the only way to create a shop. Combining what was already available with practical ingenuity made this a project in which we enjoyed the making itself.
